President of France Emmanuel Macron expressed disappointment over his calls to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin after what he saw “in Bucha”, however, he believes that the president Vladimir Zelensky would still need to negotiate with the dictator. Macron said this while talking to reporters in Kyiv, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“Of course, given the number of hours that I spent on the phone, I can honestly tell you, and with all the insight that I have now received, especially having visited Bucha and other places, I now cannot be not only disappointed, it is not even enough a strong word when you see the barbarity that all this has led to. But, despite this, I believe that this will need to be done, because sooner or later Zelensky will need to talk with Putin, to negotiate,” Macron said.

According to the French President, he spoke with Putin on his own initiative and sometimes at the request of Zelensky, when he wanted to convey certain messages to the dictator.
