According to him, the health care system is capable of delivering about 1.5 million vaccinations per week without undue stress. On average, this is 220-250 vaccinations per day at one vaccination point.
“Unfortunately, in some mass vaccination centers, the process is logistically incorrect or the number of such centers is incorrectly calculated. And as my trip to Zaporozhye showed, everything that was impossible becomes possible if you make an effort and make it a priority,” he said.
Yesterday, both in the Zaporozhye region and in Ukraine, a record number of vaccinations were made per day – more than 226 thousand.
“And this is not the limit – the regions can and should increase the pace further. But, unfortunately, not all responsible people understand this, so I will initiate the removal of the head of health care of the city of Zaporozhye,” the minister said.
