Luke de Jong seems to be on the way to Besiktas. The Dutchman wants to leave Sevilla and the Turkish top club hopes to make use of this: it is thinking of a rental construction, with an option to buy.
De Jong was also linked in the rumor circuit to a return to PSV, but Besiktas seems to be a bit more decisive. The Turkish Photomatch reports that Besiktas has now reported to Sevilla with an offer. It hopes to bring De Jong to Turkey on a rental basis, taking over half of the attacker’s salary. In addition, Besiktas hopes to obtain an option to buy.
Sevilla wants to bring an extra striker to the club in the coming weeks, making De Jong the fourth striker in the pecking order. However, the Dutchman is not waiting for this. He is therefore open to a departure to Besiktas, to be able to make the necessary minutes with it at next year’s World Cup.
