Romelu Lukaku really care about the condition Christian Eriksen and want to visit his teammate in Inter Milan However, health protocols prevented Lukaku’s intentions.
Eriksen caught the public’s attention last weekend when he defended the Danish national team against the Finland national team in the opening match of Group B Euro 2020 at Parken Stadium.
Eriksen suddenly fell in the 40th minute and was unconscious. Having struggled for approximately 30 minutes, Eriksen finally regained consciousness after being given first aid and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Initial diagnosis said Eriksen had heart failure and had to undergo further tests to determine his condition. So far Eriksen has stabilized and is able to joke around again with his family, friends and team-mates in Denmark.
Well, one of his teammates who is so worried about him is Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian player had tears when he saw the incident and he also dedicated his goal when Belgium beat Russia 3-0, for Eriksen.
Incidentally, the Belgian national team will meet Denmark in both Group B, Thursday (17/6/2021) tonight WIB. Lukaku had the opportunity to meet Eriksen at the Rigshospitalet hospital, which is very close to the Parken stadium.
“I want to meet Christian at the hospital. I’ve spoken to the coach about it and of course he agreed,” said Lukaku at a press conference quoted Mirror.
“I’ve had a message from Eriksen that he’s fine and I told him, don’t hesitate to talk to me.”
“I’ll text Eriksen after tomorrow’s game, but for now he needs time with his family.”
Romelu Lukaku recently admitted that he was indeed close to Eriksen and also knew the family well. However, Lukaku’s intentions could be difficult to realize due to the strict health protocol in Denmark.
The hospital doesn’t let just anyone in there and Belgium is still undergoing a bubble..
