Lower Franconia will get 18 additional police officers from autumn

The police in Lower Franconia will have more personnel in autumn. Bavaria’s Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) announced this in Wrzburg on Tuesday. On September 1, 64 new officials will start working in the region. With 46 retires at the same time, that’s an increase of 18 people. That was more than in the past five years combined, according to Herrmann: Since 2016, the police force in Lower Franconia has grown by just 14 jobs.
