Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, announced the new increases in the prices of consumption segments.
With the trend of some to rationalize consumption, especially after the rise in billing prices, there are some things that consume electricity strongly, even if they are closed, we mention them to you according to the American “bright side” site:
– Never turn off the TV from the electrical circuit, as this will waste more energy without use.
– Putting the phone charger in the power switch without using it, causes it to consume approximately 15% of the charger’s capacity.
– Leave the router connected to electricity without disconnecting it in the case of non-use, and it is preferable to disconnect it from time to time.
– Leaving the multi-wire electric joint in the switch, much is wasted due to its useless use.
– Place the microwave wire or electric heater connected to the switch without using it.
– Turn on the timer in the cooker, without using it.
– Leave the washing machine connected to electrical power without turning it on.
The most important advice to rationalize electricity consumption:
– Close the light bulbs in places that do not need lighting, and rely on sunlight during the day.
– Close the ceiling fans in empty rooms.
Microwaves and ovens should be used to heat food only when absolutely necessary.
– When using an electric washing machine, it is preferable to reduce the number of washers by using the maximum load in each washing machine, and using cold water instead of hot also reduces electricity consumption.
– Set the temperature of the refrigerator between 2 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the degree of “freezer” is – 18 degrees Celsius.
– In the event of a dishwasher, do not use it to dry dishes.
Of course, regular bulbs should be replaced with “LED” bulbs.
It is advised to use a thermostat to adjust the degree of home lighting and control according to need.
– Disconnect unused electronic devices and chargers, and do not place the laptop on the charger when the battery is full.
The prices of the new chips came as follows:
The first tranche from zero to 50 kilowatts will charge 38 piasters per kilowatt, instead of 30 piasters.
The second tranche from 51 to 100 kilowatts will be charged according to the new prices at 48 piasters per kilowatt instead of 40 piasters.
The third tranche and consumes from zero to 200 kilos will be charged at 65 piasters per kilowatt hour instead of 50 piasters.
The fourth tranche from 201 to 350 kilowatts will be charged at 961 instead of 82 piasters.
The fifth tranche from 351 to 650 kilowatts will be charged at 118 piasters per kilowatt instead of 100 piasters.
The sixth tranche from 651 to less than a thousand kilos, fixing the price of 140 piasters.
The seventh tranche, which is more than 1000 kilowatts on subsidy, and is sold at 145 piasters, has not gone up.
