The case of the murder of the pregnant Danish woman Louise Borglit has long been a mystery.
The 32-year-old was only going on a short trip with his sister’s dog on November 4, 2016, but never returned.
She was found dead in Elverparken in Copenhagen, and had been stabbed several times.
The horrific murder sent shock waves through the Danish population.
It turned out that Louise was pregnant in her seventh month. Both she and her unborn child died from the stab wounds.
New message six years later
The Danish police have spent a lot of time and effort getting to the bottom of the mystery of who killed the expectant mother six years ago.
Until now, they have not had any results to show.
Friday morning writes Danish BT that a 28-year-old man is charged with the murder of Borglit.
– We have charged the man with murder, but it is important to emphasize that the investigation is not over, says Deputy Police Inspector Peter Malmose at Vestegen Police in a press release.
