The Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, and authorities of the agency left the PAN governors, with whom a meeting had been agreed this Monday to coordinate actions and resolve the serious problems faced in managing the health crisis in Covid-19.
“The inconsistencies” would also be dealt with in front of the data of the federal government “that we suppose urgent and cannot wait any longer,” said the state leaders, regretting the abrupt cancellation but anticipating that they will insist on the meeting.
The leaders grouped in the Association of Governors of National Action (GOAN) reported that the cancellation of the meeting occurred just a few minutes after the appointment, which was at 1:00 pm today.
“This meeting was scheduled days in advance with the Minister of Health, Jorge Alcocer and the Undersecretary for Prevention and Promotion of Health, Hugo López Gatell,” GOAN reported on its social networks, reporting that it will now be asked to reschedule it.
In recent weeks, the disagreements between the Health authorities and the state governments have been maintained, because the data reported by the entities is not reflected in the statistics of the federal government or in the proposed traffic lights.
Last Friday, the rejection of the risk signaling proposed by the federal government was extended to Morena governments.
