London: – Police officer suspected of murder – has found remains

On Tuesday night, a police officer in his 40s was arrested and arrested in connection with the disappearance of 33-year-old Sarah Everard who disappeared last Wednesday night.

Since she left the apartment of a friend in south-west London a week ago, no one has seen or heard anything from Everard. She was then on her way home to Brixton.

When the policeman was arrested on Tuesday night, the man was suspected of having one role in the disappearance, but he is now suspected of murder.

The man, who is in his 40s, works as a police officer for the Metropolitan Police.

On Tuesday, the police published two new photos of the 33-year-old. In one of the pictures she is wearing the same jacket as the night she disappeared.

The suspected police officer worked for the Metrepolitian Police. To the channel, police confirm that the man was not at work at the time Everard disappeared, but that he usually worked to protect diplomatic and parliamentary leaders.

It is still not known if the police officer knew the missing woman.

A woman in her 30s has also been arrested in connection with the disappearance, suspected of having helped with the kidnapping. She is being held in custody, the police say The Guardian.
