Britain’s Foreign Office said it was aware of reports that the body of one of two missing British nationals is believed to have been found in eastern Ukrainebut still cannot confirm the information about their deaths, reports the BBC.
It’s about Charity workers Andrew Bagshaw, 48, and 28-year-old Christopher Parry. According to Ukrainian police, the volunteers were last seen last Friday on their way to Soledar, an area that has seen fierce fighting in recent days.
“We continue to support the families of two Britons who have gone missing in Ukraine. We are aware of the latest reports on this matter and are in contact with the Ukrainian authorities,” a foreign ministry spokesman said.
The day before, the press service of Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the pro-Kremlin mercenary group “Wagner”, released a message about the discovery of the body of one of the missing Britons (without specifying who), in whose personal belongings the documents of the two men were found. The message was accompanied by photos of both men’s documents.

On September 20, it took place large-scale exchange of prisoners of war, with the Russian side also releasing several Britons captured in Donbass. The exchange of prisoners of war was then carried out with the help of the Russian oligarch, considered close to Vladimir Putin – Roman Abramovich, who took the British citizens to Saudi Arabia with his private plane.
