Both Czech shooters gradually eliminated all four opponents in the final and after 50 shots and 43 shots they fought a decisive duel in the shootout. In the end, the 39-year-old Lipták did better in it, defeating his colleague seven years older thanks to an intervention on the seventh blow. Kostelecký missed here and could only congratulate his compatriot.
