In 2020 the UNESCOtogether with the International Council of Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH), declared January 14 as the world logic day.

The proclamation responds to the will to call the attention of the scientific community and the general public about the intellectual history, the theoretical importance and the practical repercussions of logic.

The date commemorates the death of Kurt Gödel and the birth of Alfred Tarski, two great thinkers of the 20th century.
