For his part, Dr. Hossam Abbas, Head of the Population and Family Planning Sector, indicated that exhibitions will be held for women’s clubs, to improve demographic characteristics and empower women, where the products of women’s clubs will be displayed during the campaigns, explaining that all the exhibits are produced by the beneficiaries who frequent the health units, and who They were trained in women’s clubs, out of belief in the importance of women’s empowerment and their role in improving the economic income of Egyptian families.
Abbas added that the rural pioneers identify the women who need the service before the convoy, and during the convoy, seminars are organized to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of spacing between births, and the impact of family planning on the health of the mother and child.
It is noteworthy that the dates and locations of launching reproductive health convoys are published periodically on the Ministry of Health and Population’s Facebook page.
