Bad news hit Liverpool ahead of Community Shield this weekend. Two players The Reds, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jotaconfirmed to be absent due to injury.
Liverpool as the FA Cup champions face the Premier League champions, Manchester City, in the Community Shield event. The duel is scheduled to take place at the King Power Stadium, Leicester, Saturday (30/7/2022) night WIB.

On one side, Liverpool have to lose Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota absent this weekend. Both are still recovering from injuries.
This news was conveyed by the Liverpool manager, Juergen Klopp. He said Alisson could only appear in the inaugural match of the 2022/2023 Premier League against Fulham.
“No, Alisson and Diogo don’t have any [peluang]. Ali trained today more than the day before so he could feature against Fulham, but not this weekend,” Klopp said on Liverpool’s official website, Thursday (28/7).
“It’s the same for Diogo. Diogo can’t join us here so how can he play football? Unfortunately his recovery will take a while,” he said.
Liverpool most likely to use the reserve goalkeeper, Adrian San Miguel, in the match Community Shield against Man City. The Spanish goalkeeper has always played throughout pre-season, including during The Reds fell 0-1 at the headquarters of RB Salzburg, Wednesday (27/7).
