Reporting from Daily MailOn Friday (6/26) yesterday, Liverpool fans celebrated the Premier League title at Pier Head. This is an area in downtown Liverpool, England.
It is estimated, there are 1,000 Liverpool fans who came. They lit fireworks and rejoiced.
Unfortunately, the celebration was endless sweet. The action of the fans went too far until it ended in a riot with the local police.
Fans lit fireworks and flares towards buildings, got drunk, and disturbed order. The police who moved to secure were attacked.

The Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson looked furious with the action of Liverpool fans. For him it’s fine to celebrate the title but not in that way.
“For 2 hours, 300 fans attacked the police,” he tweeted on Twitter.
“An opportunity to celebrate the championship, instead it became an embarrassing news. This kind of behavior tarnished the reputation of Liverpool, both for the city and the club. We are certainly proud of the achievement of the Liverpool club, but the celebration is not now because it is in a health crisis,” he continued.
Not only that, circulating a video that allegedly Liverpool fans were smoking cocaine when celebrating the title at the same place. In a video spread on social media, some men suck white powder suspected of cocaine and sprinkled on a police hat.

The action was criticized. The Liverpool police are looking for the person in the video. While the fans were riot, more than 15 people had been secured.
