MUSIC VICTORIES – Who will be the big winners of this 35th edition? The Music wins reward this Friday, February 14, the best artists, clips, albums or revelations of the year.
The evening, chaired by singer Florent Pagny, will be followed by several animators, flagship figures of France 2 which broadcasts the festivities live.
Already rewarded last year, the singer Angèle is a favorite. The 24-year-old Belgian, interpreter of “Yes or No” and “All forget”, is named in three categories opposite Clara Luciani or Jeanne Added.
Among the male artists, the singular Philippe Katerine and the singer of variety Alain Souchon also add three nominations each. And if this year, the Victoires de la musique have rethought their award ceremony, removing the musical genre categories, rap is present with Nekfeu and PNL for the title of “best album” or “best audiovisual creation”.

The first prize of the evening, that of “audiovisual creation” (understand the best clip), is awarded to rappers from PNL for “Au DD”. The clip, shot at the top of the Eiffel Tower, had exploded all records for views on Youtube. But the two rappers are not present this evening, leaving Faustine Bollaert and Julian Bugier alone on stage.

It is the honorary president who kicks off this 2020 edition. And if Florent Pagny evokes in half-words only his eventful past with the Victoires de la Musique, he embarks on a summary of 35 years of history of music … before prophesying the future of the industry. And probably lose some viewers at the start of the evening.
