BORDERS

The European Union decides to open its borders to 15 countries. The governments of the member states have agreed on a list of destinations where the epidemiological situation linked to Covid-19 is deemed to be sufficiently secure for the resumption of these trips. The list will be updated every 15 days.

These 15 countries are: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

China is also included, but on the condition that it admits visitors from the EU to its soil, which is currently only the case on a limited basis.

However, the following are excluded from this list: the United States, the country most affected by the pandemic in the world with 125,928 deaths for almost 2.6 million cases listed, Brazil, Russia, India, Turkey and even Israel.
