TRIBUNPADANG.COM, JAKARTA -Trending the top 10 in 22 countries, an Indonesian web series appeared, namely Little Mom, which managed to steal the attention of global audiences.
The series is considered to be proof that the show industry, especially serials in Indonesia, is Indonesia started to bounce back after the pandemic.
This record made the WeTV Original Little Mom web series managed to achieve a MURI record.
Lesley Simpson as Country Head of WeTV and iFlix Indonesia said that this series could be a pioneer in the rise of the series in Indonesia.
“From the beginning, we wanted it not to be content from other countries that we liked, it turns out that little mom was the pioneer,” he said Lesley Simpson at Hitmakers Studios, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (13/10/2021).
“We want this series to be proof of awakening the world of entertainment in Indonesia, hopefully being the originator,” continued Lesley.

At first, Lesley did not think that this series would be trending in dozens of other countries.
“Actually, when we first created it, we wanted it to be well received Indonesia never mind, but the result is like this, I’m proud,” said Lesley Simpson.
The players, namely Natasha Wilona, Teuku Rassya, and Al Ghazali both did not think that the series they starred in could be trending in other countries.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very happy every time we shoot, we pray that this series will be the best in the world.” IndonesiaEh, thank God it was granted and thankfully it can even be trending in other countries,” said Al.
