Lithuania to donate more coronavirus vaccine to Ukraine than planned

In total, Lithuania intends to send 200 thousand doses of AstraZeneca to the Eastern Partnership countries. Moldova will receive 26.5 thousand doses, Armenia – 27.5 thousand doses. Another 15 thousand have already been sent to Georgia.

The drugs will be sent to other countries in the near future, the country’s health ministry said.

It was originally planned that Ukraine will be provided with 100 thousand doses vaccines, and Moldova – 11 thousand doses.

Oxford / AstraZeneca (Covishield, AstraZeneca-SKBio and AstraZeneca), Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinovac Biotech (CoronaVac) и Johnson & Johnson (Janssen). Also, vaccinations are carried out with the Moderna vaccine.
