Some new phones will get an update Android 11 this year, although Android 11 has been announced since September 8 last year.
When announced, several cell phone manufacturers have tried this service in beta. However, they have slowly rolled out the full version of Android 11 to several lines of phones.
Android 11 itself provides several key feature updates as follows.
1. Bubble (balloon): this is a messaging feature so that users can immediately view and reply to messages in a floating window, without having to open the app. This floating window can run on top of other applications.
2. Android Auto: navigation feature when the user is driving in the car.
3. Smart home: this is a control feature for various IoT (internet of things) devices at home. Users can control the lights on and off from a cell phone, for example.
4. Media: Now the media control feature in notifications isn’t just for pausing and playing music. But it can also be used to choose which device to play the music on, whether on the user’s bluetooth speaker or headset.
5. One-time-permission: This feature makes it easier for users to grant permission for current use only, as reported Android Authority. For example, if an app requests permission to use location, the user can allow it for only that moment. Previously, this feature did not exist, users could only choose to deny, allow when the application was used, or continue to allow permissions.
