LG announced that it was launching and starting to market the largest variant of its QNED Mini LED TV for Indonesia at the 2022 Jakarta Fair. LG’s QNED Mini LED TV is the flagship of LG’s LCD TV line and this largest variant complements LG’s QNED Mini LED TV line in Indonesia.

LG Electronics recently in Jakarta announced that it was launching and starting to market the largest variant of the TV QNED Mini LEDits for Indonesia at Jakarta Fair 2022. LG’s QNED Mini LED TV is flagship from LG’s line of LCD TVs. This LG QNED Mini LED TV is claimed to offer a better picture than LG’s non-QNED Mini LED LCD TVs or you could say most of the LCD TVs available in the world today.

LG added that the Jakarta Fair 2022 is the first stage for the availability of its QNED Mini LED TV which has a diagonal screen size of 86 inches. The two main technologies of LG’s QNED Mini LED TV are Quantum Dot NanoCell and Mini LED. The two technologies are also what make a TV which is also known as LG QNED Mini LED TV it can display a better picture than most LCD TVs.

“The collaboration of two technologies that makes it the pinnacle of LED TV innovation today and the success of presenting it in the largest screen landscape, makes its premiere availability worthy of a special stage at the biggest celebration of the Indonesian capital,” said Hoony Bae (Product Director Home Entertainment PT. LG Electronics Indonesia) while adding the LG QNED Mini LED TV with a diagonal screen size of 86 inches, which made its first appearance at the 2022 Jakarta Fair, adding to the long line of choices for the premium series TV screens.

The LG QNED Mini LED TV with a diagonal screen size of 86 inches certainly complements LG’s first available QNED Mini LED TV line. LG also mentioned bringing other variants of its QNED Mini LED TV to the 2022 Jakarta Fair. LG said that other variants of its QNED Mini LED TV have screen diagonal sizes ranging from 50 inches to 75 inches.

As InfoKomputer said in hereQuantum Dot in Quantum Dot NanoCell refers to semiconductor particles that are only a few nanometers in size. Quantum dot will emit light with a certain single color when exposed to blue light. In other words, adding quantum dot allows blue light sources to produce red, green, and blue light that is more precise or “pure” than filtered white light sources — many LCD TVs use.

Meanwhile, the NanoCell on the Quantum Dot NanoCell has been used by LG in its NanoCell TV line. The NanoCell mentioned by LG has a function to purify red, green, and blue light. Therefore, naturally the Quantum Dot NanoCell makes LG’s QNED Mini LED TV produce much purer red, green, and blue light than most LCD TVs. Red, green, blue aka RGB (red, green, blue) itself is the primary color alias primary for light.

The Mini LED refers to the mini-sized LED used by LG’s QNED Mini LED TV. Thanks to the smaller size of the LEDs than the LEDs commonly used as backlight on LCD TVs, the number of Mini LEDs that can be used as backlight on the same-sized LCD TV is a lot more. For your information, what is now often referred to as LED TV refers to LCD TVs with backlight LED.

LG says its QNED Mini LED TV has as many as 30,000 Mini LEDs — claimed to be 1/40 of a regular LED — as backlight-his. The 30,000 mini-LEDs are grouped into nearly 2,500 zones, to be exact dimming zone. In other words, the LG QNED Mini LED TV has nearly 2,500 zones whose brightness can be increased and decreased according to individual content. This number is far more than LCD TVs which still use conventional LEDs.

With Mini LED, LG’s QNED Mini LED TV can better display images containing light and dark areas close together; Bright areas can appear bright without making dark areas less dark. As a result, LG’s QNED Mini LED TV is able to produce black colors that are blacker than LCD TVs that have not used Mini LEDs in various scenarios.
