Liquidity in Abu Dhabi and Dubai financial markets exceeds 1.72 billion dirhams – Market Updates

The liquidity of the local financial markets during today’s session exceeded 1.72 billion dirhams, distributed by 1.1 billion dirhams in Abu Dhabi and about 606 million dirhams in the Dubai Financial Market.

The general index of the Abu Dhabi Financial Market closed at the level of 9780.79 points, amid transactions amounting to more than 1.1 billion dirhams on about 253.69 million shares that were traded through 17037 transactions.

The value of corporate purchases amounted to 809.34 million dirhams, and their sales amounted to 788.17 million dirhams, so that their net investments at the end of the session amounted to 21.16 million dirhams as purchase proceeds.

Global Holding topped the turnover with 207 million dirhams, to end its session up by 0.12%, followed by Q Holding with 116.33 million dirhams.

The share of Abu Dhabi National Hotels topped the gainers, up 3.23%, followed by Emirates Driving School, up 2.85% during the session.

The Dubai Financial Market closed at 4045.64 points, while the value of trading during the session reached 606.53 million dirhams on 311.37 million shares..Tradings took place through 10,919 transactions on the shares of 37 companies.

Ajman Bank topped the transactions with a value of 262.54 million dirhams, and the stock ended its session, up by 0.46%, followed by Emaar Properties, with transactions worth 63.74 million dirhams, then Emirates NBD with 46.64 million dirhams.

With regard to trading according to the type of investor, institutional purchases amounted to 257.88 million dirhams and sales amounted to 360.24 million dirhams, while individual investor purchases amounted to 348.64 million dirhams and sales amounted to 246.3 million dirhams.
