Lima: Work pass | What documents must those who can transit

Given the return of mandatory social immobilization on Sundays, a measure issued by the Executive to mitigate the effects of the in the country, the (Mininter) recalled what documents the workers and professionals who can mobilize that day must have.

Through his Twitter account, the Minister specified that on Sundays only workers who provide essential services such as doctors, firefighters, police officers, among others, may circulate.

He added that they must have the following documents:

  • National Identity Documents (DNI).

Regarding vehicles, drivers must process the aforementioned documents plus the vehicle pass processed online. “The Police and the Armed Forces will supervise at the national level compliance with the provisions of the Government”, Emphasized the Mininter.

The Ministries of the Interior and Defense reported that the web page that will allow workers and professionals to obtain a work pass to circulate during the next Sundays, days in which the mandatory social immobilization will be implemented, has already been enabled.

  • 5. Freight, merchandise and related activities transportation services, as stipulated by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
  • 6. Private vehicles of medical personnel, nurses, firefighters and the Armed Forces and National Police that participate in the operations.
  • 7. Personal serenade and supervision of local governments.
  • 8. Media personnel and vehicles.
  • 9. Official health transport vehicles.
  • 10. Private vehicles of the Legislative Power, Public Ministry and INPE.
  • 11. Personnel of security companies.
  • 12. Personnel and services of pharmacies and restaurants authorized to deliver home deliveries.

The authorities emphasized that the National Police of Peru will retain the property card and driver’s license and will impose a fine of S / 6,450 to people who transit with their vehicle during the hours of mandatory social immobilization (from 10 pm to 4 am) and on Sundays (from 10 pm on Saturday to 4 am on Monday).
