Lili Ivanova addressed the audience of “Arena Armeets”:
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just want to tell you that when I had the opportunity to leave and not come back, I chose to stay in Bulgaria and I don’t regret it. I love you”. With these words, the culminating concert of Lili Ivanova’s nationwide tour ended. The event took place in the largest Bulgarian hall – Arena Sofia, which was fully booked, writes BTA.
The biggest and most loved name in Bulgarian pop music sang 16 songs, which were a kind of walk through his more than 60-year creative career. The concert began with the latest from Lily’s reporter: “Out of control”, “Hear my soul”, “Life”. This was followed by “Stud” – a 1989 song that sounds in a new arrangement, as well as “If I Stop Loving”. After “I want you”, the hall was already standing and she applauded “This World is a Woman”, “Incredible”, “The Stormy River”.
After performing one of her biggest hits of the past 15 years, “I Was For You,” Lily said, “I’ve had a lot, but let’s see what we can do together.”
The whole hall sang “Cricket”, “Cloves”, “Fairs”, “Warning” and “Winds” in chorus – another favorite song of the Bulgarians, which returns to Lily’s concert repertoire with a new sound, with a solo violin.
“Winds” – another favorite song of the Bulgarians, returning to Lily’s concert repertoire in a new sound, with a solo violin.
“Judgment”, the song in which Lili Ivanova sings “My last word will be a song”, puts the full stop.
There was a surprise at the end of the concert when Kubrat Pulev appeared on stage and Lily introduced him as “a great Bulgarian”.
