Lewandowski to the lilies? – Twitter joke makes people laugh

Is he going? Does he stay? Robert Lewandowski not only keeps FC Bayern on their toes with his thoughts on a change. A very special Lewandowski gag is now doing the rounds on Twitter.

DARMSTADT – “Welcome to the Bölle! The lilies have signed Robert Lewandowski from the first division club FC Bayern Munich. The 33-year-old attacking player has signed a contract with #sv98 until 2024.” Yes, you read that correctly. And no, today is not April 1st. Nevertheless, this transfer message, coupled with a nice picture of the Polish striker, has been making the rounds on Twitter since Monday afternoon. And also looks deceptively real.

But unfortunately we have to tear you out of your daydreams at this point. Because this message can not look more than real. It is a joke, admittedly very well done, by a Darmstadt 98 fan account. The Twitter user @SVDarmstadt1898 spread this “news”. In the meantime, the post has been retweeted more than 40 times, given a like almost 2,400 times and plenty of comments.

Most Twitter users immediately debunked the gag and jumped right into it. “The upheaval is finally being initiated,” writes one user. Another: “Does he get his salary in Wella bottles and Merck pills?”. And a lily fan jokingly says that what belongs together is finally coming together. But not everyone got the joke right away. “What??? How the hell does that work?” writes a fan quite stunned. He was enlightened shortly afterwards and torn from his illusions.

Of course, you will always find out who, when and from where is moving to SV Darmstadt 98 first from us – then without any fakes, we promise.
