Les Septuors de L’Indépendant 2022: nine companies from the Pyrénées-Orientales in the spotlight

This 5th edition has once again come to reward the economic actors of the territory. A ceremony organized by L’Indépendant this Tuesday, May 31 at the headquarters of Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée in Perpignan.

The fifth edition of the Septuors of the Pyrénées-Orientales delivered its verdict, this Tuesday, May 31, during an evening that highlighted the dynamism of the economic actors of the territory. An event organized by L’Indépendant and hosted once again at Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée. “The opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that contributes to the progress of society. The Septets participate in this ecosystem“, welcomed Nicolas Tavernier, general manager of the Perpignan headquarters.

Many economic and political actors of the territory were therefore present, as were the 9 sponsors who came to reward as many categories each comprising three named companies. Often loyal partners (Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, CER France, Department of Pyrénées-Orientales, University of Perpignan Via Domitia, Le Monde Nouveau, Mutual Harmony, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of 66, Club de l’Éco of L’Indépendant and finally the Occitanie Region) to present the trophies to the lucky winners.

Family businesses established for many years but also young innovative start-ups and other daring entrepreneurs. An evening hosted by Alain Baute, Managing Director of L’Indépendant, not failing to salute “all these business leaders who fight and fight, these men and women who dare, who undertake, who take risks…“Laureates who will meet by the end of the year in Montpellier for the Occinov regional final.

Septuor International : Onedirect

Number One in France, Onedirect has specialized for 23 years in the distribution of telecommunications equipment and videoconferencing or meeting room solutions to professionals. The Catalan company with 120 employees and located in Saint-Estève generates 45% of its 66 million turnover internationally.

Septuor Entrepreneurs: Rising

Kuupanda (seed in Swahili) has developed from the Vall-up nursery in Céret a marketing and commercial management tool intended for producers and farmers to save them time. The agility of the start-up won over the Hectar campus (the equivalent of Ecole 42 in Agritech) which integrated it into its business accelerator.

Septet Commerce and Crafts: Manufacture du Garnet

It is impossible to go to Prades without visiting the Manufacture du Garnet and its Catalan Jewels manufacturing workshop. An establishment with the Living Heritage Company label and jewels recognizable by their red color and their assemblies made entirely by hand by a team of jewelers trained on site.

Sustainable Development Septet: Windelo

Since 2018, Windelo has been designing sailboats and catamarans that are more respectful of the environment from recycled and biosourced materials at the Canet nautical center. Boats over 15 meters long and an already full order book for the next two years.

Founded in 1974, Sotranasa has made a name for itself in the deployment of telecommunications networks and fiber optics with major operators. After winning a big market for Orange, the company has no less than 700 employees in the department.
