It is without a doubt one of the most anticipated returns in the world of hip-hop. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the album “The Score”, the Fugees have therefore reformed on stage. The fans, however, had to wait 3:30 for this first mini concert given in New York on September 22.
While this first show was to start at 7:00 p.m., it was finally at 10:30 p.m. that Pras Michel, Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill made their entrance in front of the 3,500 spectators. Is this a taste of the tour that will begin on November 2 in Chicago? “We are still preparing it,” said the singer of the trio.
As a reminder, the latter is dragging a reputation as a diva who usually starts her concerts very late. A proven fact, especially during his last visit to Paris in 2018. Hoot at the time by the French public, Miss Lauryn Hill, had however made his mea-culpa by going to meet some fans who were still in the pit.

Other admirers, however, are more reluctant. Indeed, this interminable wait for them, will have curtailed their pleasure of hearing them reinterpret their greatest hits, since finally the Fugees have only played six titles. A presence of only thirty-five minutes for more than three hours of waiting.
In France, the legendary group will normally perform on stage on December 4 in Nanterre in the Paris La Défense Arena venue. And we have to believe that French fans are afraid of being disappointed given the number of places that are still available to attend the show.
