Next Tuesday, representatives from all 55 UEFA member associations want to meet in one video conference advise on how to proceed after the outbreak of the corona pandemic. According to information from the French sports newspaper L’Equipe the European Football Association will announce that the two European Cup competitions – Champions and Europe League – be suspended for the time being.
Another important point is on the program: EURO 2020. According to L’Equipe will be announced on Tuesday that the European Football Championship postponed to 2021 by one year. The aim is to gain time to bring the European Cup season to an end.
The first pan-European EM is scheduled to take place from June 12 to July 12 in twelve countries.
