Leipzig (AP) – RB Leipzig has signed midfielder Caden Clark from the partner club New York Red Bulls. This was shared by the club. The only 18-year-old gets a contract with the Saxons until June 30, 2024, but will continue to play in Major League Soccer for the New Yorkers for the time being.
“We decided on a direct loan so that Caden, at just 18 years old, could still have the entire season in the MLS before he comes to us in Leipzig,” said Florian Scholz, Commercial Director of Sport. Clark plays in the attacking midfield and can be used there both centrally and on the wings.
