“Lebanon weather forecast: Hot air mass from Egypt and Arabian Peninsula followed by cold air mass from Turkey”

The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean would be affected by hot air masses originating from Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula, leading to a noticeable rise in temperatures and continuing until Wednesday afternoon, when it gradually recedes, to return and be affected as of Thursday by cold air masses. As a result of the impact of an air depression on Turkey, which leads to a noticeable decrease in temperatures and some fluctuations, from Thursday / Friday night until the end of the week.

Note: The average temperature for May is between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius.

The expected weather in Lebanon:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with the start of a noticeable drop in temperatures on the southern coast, where seasonal averages diverge with active winds. Humidity also rises from the evening, and fog forms on the heights.

Thursday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds, with an additional and noticeable decrease in temperatures, especially on the mountains and indoors, as they fall below their seasonal rates, with a high humidity that leads to the formation of fog on the heights.

Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a slight additional drop in temperatures and fog at the heights, with the possibility of light local rain starting in the afternoon, especially on the southern heights.

Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a slight additional drop in temperatures and fog at heights, with the possibility of scattered light rain.
