Adriano Almeida ended his connection to Sporting at the end of June and said goodbye to the club with a post on social media.
The 19-year-old player who played 11 games in the under-23 team last season was in the lions since he was 11 years old, he became team captain and now says goodbye without hiding any regrets.
“I leave sad and disappointed with some situations that have occurred in these last two years but that should not be exposed for all the respect I have for the institution, however I leave with a clear conscience”, he wrote.
«The moments I lived in this house were more good than bad and at no time do I regret having left everything behind in search of a dream because that was exactly what I lived for eight years, the dream of representing the club of my heart. However, the biggest dream remained unfulfilled», he also pointed out.
