Gold prices settled in the local market today, Saturday, at the same levels yesterday.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the price of a gram of 21-carat gold recorded today is 762 pounds, the same price as yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold is about 653 pounds, 24 carats is 870.9 pounds, and the gold pound is 6096 pounds.
Globally, global gold prices continued to rise, taking advantage of the escalating tension between the United States and China, concerns about the slow recovery of the already staggering global economy due to the Corona virus pandemic.
According to Bloomberg data, the price of gold ended trading yesterday, up 0.44%, to reach $ 1734.6 an ounce.
Today and tomorrow is an official holiday on the world stock exchanges.
