Curaçao relaxes rules for Dutch tourists | Inland

Curaçao is one of the few sunny destinations that is yellow and is therefore extremely popular with Dutch tourists. However, the measures to get to the island did form a barrier. For example, the European Corona Certificate – the coronacheck app – could not be used. Instead, international corona proof was required.

That is no longer necessary, the government on the island announced on Tuesday.

Another barrier was the test that people had to take three days after arriving on the island. It had to be booked and paid in advance. The Dutch no longer have to do that (for the time being). The Netherlands is considered a low-risk country, which means that vaccinated people do not have to take a test.

Before departure, travelers still have to fill in a lot of information on dicardcuracao.com in order to receive a Digital Immigration Card and a Passenger Locator Form.
