The family lawyer explained the current condition of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s wife.
“Still in a state of severe trauma and in intensive care by a psychologist,” said Attorney General Ferdy Sambo, Arman Hanis, when contacted, Thursday (21/7/2022) night.
He then said that the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo had been questioned several times in connection with the shootout that killed Brigadier Joshua on Friday (8/7). The investigation is said to have been carried out by investigators from the South Jakarta Metro Police and the Metro Jaya Police.

“There have been several times (Ferdy Sambo’s wife was examined by investigators), the Resort Police and the Metro Police,” he said.
However, Arman did not explain in detail when the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo underwent an examination. He also did not explain what details were asked of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s wife.
“Please just ask the investigators,” he said.

The shooting incident between Brigadier Joshua and Bharada E took place at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s halfway house, Friday (8/7). The shootout was said to have started with allegations of harassment against the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
At that time, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s wife was said to have shouted because she was suspected of being abused by Brigadier Joshua, who was the driver. Bharada E, who is the bodyguard of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s family, heard the screams and asked what happened.
Police said Brigadier Joshua responded to Bharada E’s question with gunfire. A gunfight ensued and killed Brigadier Joshua.
Recently, a number of parties, such as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md to Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission III Bambang Wuryanto said there were irregularities in this case. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also ordered that the police shooting case be thoroughly investigated.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has formed a special team led by Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Gatot Eddy to investigate this case. The investigation of the case was also withdrawn by the Polda Metro Jaya from the Polres Metro Jaksel.
General Sigit also disabled Inspector General Ferdy Sambo from the position of Head of the Propam Division. In addition, the National Police Chief disabled Kombes Budhi Herdi from the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief and Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan from the Karo Paminal Divpropam Polri.
The family of Brigadier Joshua also reported the alleged premeditated murder to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Recently, the National Police stated that they would conduct a re-autopsy on the body of Brigadier Joshua.
