Lawyer Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita, Adriel Viari Purba, said that his client had an unregistered marriage with the former West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Teddy Minahasa. Adriel said his client had an unregistered marriage in Sukabumi.
“Linda’s mother said, ‘I am inside How my way to call Ustaz Herman’. They got married at Pelabuhan Ratu, the wedding was in Sukabumi,” said Adriel after the hearing on the drug case that ensnared Linda at the West Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (8/3/2023).
Adriel said Linda and Inspector General Teddy got married in Sukabumi after returning from the South China Sea. He said Linda did not want to sin, so she chose to marry Teddy.
“That (marriage) happened after returning from the South China Sea, because they always had sex, Mrs. Linda didn’t want to because it was a sin, ‘I want to get married first according to religion’,” explained Adriel.
Adriel also talked about religious differences which had been mentioned by Teddy’s side to dismiss the news of unregistered marriages. Adriel said that Linda and Teddy are of the same religion.
“Then what was conveyed was different religions, there they already had faith and immediately married right away at the mosque,” said Adriel.
“You want to believe go ahead, don’t believe too go ahead,” he added.
Previously, the lawyer for the former West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Teddy Minahasa, Anthony Djono, denied the statement of Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita who claimed to be the wife of his client’s series. Anthony said it was very unreasonable.
“Regarding unregistered marriage, I will convey, Mami Linda, who used to say that she was a former GRO at a hotel where the spa was plus plus. I said, don’t be too confident, don’t be too confident,” said Anthony after the trial at the West Jakarta District Court, Thursday (2/3) .
“The so-called unregistered marriage, he is a Christian, Mr. Teddy Minahasa we know are Muslims. How about interfaith marriage? That doesn’t really make sense,” he added.
Anthony challenged Linda to show proof of the unregistered marriage. He asked Linda not to speak without evidence.
“If he says he is having an unregistered marriage, we challenge him, show him the wedding photo. At the time of the wedding, whose family was present, who was his guardian, don’t talk without evidence. That’s hoax yes,” Anthony said.
