COLIMA, Col. (apro) .- The president of the College of Criminal Lawyers, Mario Garca Solrzano, formally requested the Human Rights Commission of the State of Colima (CDHEC) the issuance of precautionary measures to grant him security and protection against acts of harassment that he has suffered at home, which could put his personal integrity at risk.
In a complaint filed this day before the humanitarian organization, the lawyer pointed out as authorities presumably responsible the state government, the State Preventive Police, the Municipal Police of Colima and the General Directorate of the Investigative Police of the State Attorney General ( FGE).
Narr that for about two weeks he became aware of the drone overflight in front of his home in the Fovissste neighborhood of this city, which makes him think that he is being watched.
Particularly at dawn this Monday, he said, he was awakened by the noise of the small motors of two devices that were suspended, directing rays of light in a detailed way in the direction of some areas of the facade of his house, so he immediately assured doors and windows of the building for fear that they would try to raid their home by force.
Afterwards, I clearly heard voices exchanging police codes, which frightened me even more because I thought they were giving the order to enter my home, (while) one of the drones lasted about four hours, withdrawing with daylight, around 7:40 a.m., which made me uneasy and worried, he stated.
He states that he has lived in the same house since 1980 and that he had never had an incident of any kind, so he requested that an investigation be opened into what is happening and asked that a reliable authority provide security in the meantime.
I want to hold all the authorities indicated responsible for what may happen to me, my family or my property, since the undersigned has not committed any act that the law designates as a crime, he said.
In an interview, García Solrzano ruled out that the situation was derived from a dispute with a client or former client of his work as a lawyer, since he has not been involved in situations that go beyond his professional practice nor does he have any debt to anyone.
On the contrary, he pointed out, the confrontations that, in his role as president of the College of Criminal Lawyers, have been public with state government officials, such as the former Secretary of Public Security, Enrique Alberto Sanmiguel Sanchez, and others. , although I clarify that at the moment it does not have elements to point out someone in a concrete way.
