Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov denied that President Vladimir Putin was ill and added that there was no sign of such a thing, BTA quoted AFP as saying.
Putin’s health and personal life are taboo in Russia and are almost never discussed in public. But in response to a question from the French television Te Ef 1, Lavrov replied in a communiqué: “I do not think that anyone with all his might can see in this person signs of any disease.”
Lavrov added that Putin, who will turn 70 in October, appears in public every day. “You can see him on screen, read or listen to his speeches,” he added.
