The Vermijl brothers will play first national football next season. Both Laurens and Marnick Vermijl chose an adventure at Thes Sport.
Marnick Vermijl still played for Manchester United, but spent the past few years mainly in the lower regions of English football. Last season he was active for MVV, in the Kitchen Champion Division.
23-year-old Laurens Vermijl has already been rented to Thes Sport in the past six months and is now making the definitive switch. He comes over from Lommel.
With the arrival of the two brothers, Thes Sport does get a solid quality injection and immediately strengthens their title aspirations. Last season came in second, although it was still a long way behind leader Deinze. Thes Sport had no less than 20 points.
