Large Health and Safety Operation Targets Women’s Health and Social Issues in Aramburu Neighborhood

On the morning of this Tuesday, April 11, a large and crowded Health and Safety Operation was carried out in the Aramburu neighborhood, where women of different ages were treated with programs such as “Mujeres + Sanas”, measures to prevent breast cancer, breast and general health checks. In addition, talks were given to attendees on different social issues such as gender violence, family violence, rape, among others.

Today was the last day of permanence of the Mobile Units in the Rivadavia neighborhood, belonging to Sanitary Zone IV, and from tomorrow Wednesday they will do so in Rawson, jurisdiction of Zone V.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Alejandra Venerando, participated in the operation, who spoke with each of the attendees and observed the work carried out by the trailer professionals. The head of the health portfolio was accompanied by Dr. Walter Antuña, head of Zone IV.

“We do an articulated job between our provincial ministry with the ministries of Health and Security of the Nation. They are health actions that aim to carry out prevention tasks, especially in breast cancer,” explained Dr. Venerando.

The minister recalled that there will also be talks and training for the community on psychology and different social issues in order to provide tools by the Secretary of Security.
