Dell has announced a major upgrade to its XPS 13 product line. This will be equipped with the eleventh generation chips from Intel. The news follows shortly after Intel announced new chips.
Dell’s laptop line gets few external design changes, but several changes are noticeable on the inside. However, the laptops are packed in more sustainable materials. As a result, companies working towards a more sustainable future may be more likely to consider these laptops.
Dell XPS 13
So Dell’s XPS 13 laptops will soon be getting Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors, which should make them run faster and better. The performance per watt is significantly better than that of their predecessors. This not only means that calculations can be made faster: it would also have a positive effect on the battery life of the laptop, writes TheNextWeb.
Dell’s line also receives support for the Thunderbolt 4 standard and the RAM speed goes to 4,267 MHz. That is a significant improvement compared to the previous one of 3,733 MHz. Showpiece XPS 13 2-in-1 will soon be able to use Windows Hello. An infrared camera is added for this.
Dutch release date
It is still unknown when the new devices will be available in the Netherlands. In any case, they are coming to the regions of Canada and the United States from today.
