“Lampung Governor’s Wealth and Anti-Criticism Controversy”

Lampung Governor Arinal Djunaidi is now in the public spotlight because he is considered an anti-critic after the viral video of Bima Yudho Saputro discussing the lack of infrastructure in Lampung.

Looking at the other side of the Governor of Lampung, Arinal, it is known that he has assets worth IDR 22,600,702,572. This was obtained by the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) which was deposited by Arinal in March 2022.

The assets with the greatest value are in the form of cash and cash equivalents amounting to IDR 14,710,660,708. Then for the six plots of land and buildings the value is IDR 7,090,120,000.

While the means of transportation are three cars, he is not registered as having a motorbike. The details are as follows:

1. Self-produced 2008 Toyota car valued at IDR 159,627,000 (model unknown)
2. Self made Toyota Camry 2013 valued at IDR 225,000,000
3. 2016 Honda BR-V self-produced car worth IDR 110,000,000

Arinal’s other assets are movable assets, the value of which is IDR 494,627,000. He also reported having a debt of IDR 14,891,336.

Bima admitted that he received threats after criticizing the development of Lampung

As is known, because of the video, Bima was reported to the Lampung Regional Police by an advocate named Ginda Ansori Wayka. Ginda assessed that what Bima said had worsened Lampung’s image.

After a few days, Bima admitted that his family had received intimidation and threats. This was after his parents’ house in Ratna Daya Village was visited by the East Lampung Police and North Raman Police Chief.

It didn’t stop there, via his TikTok account, Bima told that his parents had been summoned to appear before the East Lampung Regent. During the meeting there was communication with the Governor of Lampung by telephone.

Bima revealed that the Governor of Lampung threw insults at his parents. Bima’s father was said to be incompetent in educating him.

“Then the deputy regent called directly to the Governor of Lampung Province, Arinal. Then the call was given to my father, my father continued to curse me, he was not good at taking care of children, he would process this case more deeply,” he said.
