The lawyer and senator candidate of the Honor Colorado movement Eduardo González indicated that the President of the Republic, Mario Abdo Benítez, seeks to install a state attorney general to hide the looting carried out against the state during the beginning of his government. “The election of the Attorney General must take place with clear rules, formality, objectivity and transparency for the credibility of citizens. The Council of the Judiciary must demystify this appreciation that all defendants have a large majority in the institution of members answerable to the ruling Colorado Party fully linked to the Concertación,” he indicated to La Nación / Nación Media.

“In the electoral processes both for the Supreme Court of Justice and for the TSJE there have always been speculations about the agreements between the ruling party and the opposition for the designation of the ternados. Abdo Benítez tries to put his FGE him because he has four years of state robbery, looting and fears justice, “he said.
