La Jornada – Vaccination of adults from 30 to 39 years old begins in Edomex

Ecatepec, Mex. Authorities announced the start of vaccination against Covid-19, in the first dose, for the population aged 30 to 39 years in the municipalities of Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl, Naucalpan and San Simón de Guerrero, starting next Monday, July 12.

Also, the second dose against Covid-19 will be applied to people between 50 and 59 years old in 35 municipalities. Likewise, pregnant women of legal age with more than nine weeks of gestation will be immunized.

They explained that in the municipalities of Nezahualcóyotl and Naucalpan the inoculation of those between 30 and 39 years old will be in alphabetical order, starting on Monday, July 12 for people whose first surname begins with the letters A, B, C, D and E.

On Tuesday July 13 for the letters F, G, H, I and J; on Wednesday July 14 the letters K, L, M, N and Ñ; on Thursday July 15 those of O, P, Q, R, S and T; and finally on Friday, July 16, the letters U, V, W, X, Y and Z.

In the municipality of San Simón de Guerrero the vaccination for this sector will be on July 12 in general.

In the municipality of Ecatepec, the inoculation will also be in alphabetical order of the initial letter of the first surname and will begin on Wednesday, July 14 for the letters A, B and C; on Thursday July 15 the D, E and F; on Friday the 16th the letters G, H and the letter I; on Saturday 17 the J, K and L; on Sunday 18 the letters M, N and O; on Monday the 19th the letters P, Q and R; on Tuesday 20 the S, T and U; and finally on Wednesday July 21 the letters V, W, X, Y and Z. In this municipality there will be nine venues.

The authorities of the three levels pointed out that the second dose against Covid-19 will be applied to people between 50 and 59 years old in 35 municipalities. On July 12 it will be in Almoloya del Río, Atizapán Santa Cruz, Capulhuac, Chapultepec, Joquicingo, Mexicaltzingo, Rayón, San Antonio la Isla, Texcaltitlán, Xalatlaco, Amatepec, Luvianos, San Simón de Guerrero, Temascaltepec, Tlatlaya, Almoloya de Alquisiras , Coatepec Harinas, Ixtapan de la Sal, Malinalco, Ocuilan, Sultepec, Texcalyacac, Tonatico, Zacualpan and Zumpahuacán.

While on July 12 and 13 it will be in Calimaya, Tenango del Valle, Tianguistenco, Ocoyoacac, Otzolotepec, Xonacatlán, Tejupilco, Tenancingo, Villa Guerrero and Valle de Bravo.

They stressed that in order to receive the first dose of the vaccine, they must previously register on the portal https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx and have the format generated in said platform printed, as well as an official identification, CURP and proof of original address in the name of the person who is vaccinated to corroborate their residence in the municipality; and those who come to receive a second dose will also present their proof of application of the first.

It is recommended that all persons fill out the form with the requested information, with the exception of the type of vaccine, the batch number and the date on which it will come, this will facilitate access to the sites and speed up the vaccination process.

“Similarly, it is reiterated that the vaccine is free and safe, so it is not necessary to stay overnight or arrive at the modules at dawn, and as far as possible try to stagger their arrival so as not to expose themselves to long lines or crowds. that put their health at risk, in addition to going to breakfast and in case of being in treatment for any disease, taking their medications promptly ”, they spread.
