La Jornada – Vaccination of 18 to 29 years old begins on Friday in southern Edomex

As of Friday, September 10, the anticovid vaccination days will begin for young people between 18 and 29 years old who reside in the municipalities of Atizapán de Zaragoza and Tultitlán, in addition to Tejupilco, Tlatlaya, Amatepec, Luvianos and Temascaltepec, located in the south of the Mexico state.

The vaccine may also be applied to pregnant women of legal age, with more than nine weeks of gestation and who are inhabitants of these districts.

In Atizapán de Zaragoza and Tultitlán, vaccination for young people between 18 and 29 years old will take place from September 10 to 13. The authorities determined that the calls are made according to the first letter of the paternal surname.

In this understanding, those with a surname starting from A to E will correspond to September 10; from F to K, on ​​September 11; from L to Q on September 12 and from R to Z on September 13.

In Tejupilco, vaccination will be from September 10 to 12 with a general call, while in Tlatlaya, Amatepec, Luvianos and Temascaltepec only on Friday 10 and Saturday September 11, also in general call.

To receive the vaccine it is necessary to register on the digital platform https: //mivacuna.salud, gob.mx and bring the printed format, as well as an identification, CURP and proof of address.

The location of the vaccination sites of each of the municipalities will be published on the website http://edomex.gob.mx/vacunacion, starting this Wednesday.
