PEKANBARU – The Regent of Kuansing, Andi Putra and 7 other people were arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for a plantation permit in Kuansing.
“The information we received was related to allegations of corruption in accepting promises or gifts related to plantation permits. We will inform further about the developments,” said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri to GoRiau, Tuesday (19/10/2021).
Furthermore, Ali said, at least 8 people from Kuansing Regency were confirmed to have been arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), on Monday (10/18/2021). One of them is the Regent of Kuansing, Andi Putra.
“Yes, the KPK has secured several parties, so far there are about 8 people. Among them are true, the Regent of Kuansing, aides and several private parties,” he concluded.
It is known, until now Andi Putra and 7 other people who were arrested by the KPK are still undergoing examination at the Riau Police Headquarters. ***
