In recent months, it seems that mysterious damage to popular crossovers from the budget segment in Russia has been made – there is no other way to explain why French, Korean, Czech SUVs more upset our motorists than they please. The same fate, apparently, expects the new Hyundai Tucson.
Skoda Karoq is more like a station wagon with its 160 mm ground clearance – even a Skoda Rapid is a centimeter taller – and the Czech brand is doing something inexplicable in terms of pricing policy. There is clearly something wrong with the Koreans, Russian motorists say, comparing the front of the Hyundai Tucson with the “face of a dull catfish”, which in Russia probably will not even reach the average level of sales, having sunk forever in the abyss of unsuccessful mid-size crossovers.
