The Ukrainian military from the 93rd separate mechanized brigade “Cold Yar” shot down a Ka-52 attack helicopter of the Russian Aerospace Forces. About it informs press office of the brigade.

A Russian helicopter was shot down on the night of April 14-15 in the Kharkiv region. The helicopter made an emergency landing with further ignition by the forces of one of the military’s mechanized battalions.

“The invaders planned to hit the equipment and manpower of the Kholodnoyarsk residents, however, our fighters made their own adjustments to their plans and sent pilots to the Kobzon concert,” the military wrote.

By data The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the invasion, 144 helicopters and 163 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces have already been shot down.

The Ka-52 is a Russian attack and reconnaissance helicopter. Adopted by the Russian Federation in 2011. Capable of hitting armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and air targets. The cost of one helicopter is about 15 million dollars.
