Kharkiv news – Armed forces of Ukraine push back Russian troops to the border of the Russian Federation – UNIAN

According to the head of the UVA, Russia leaves no hope of capturing Kharkov.

The armed forces of Ukraine are pushing back Russian troops to the border with the Russian Federation in the Kharkiv region.

This information was confirmed by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov on the air of the Ukrainian telethon.

So, in response to a request to comment on earlier information about such a movement of the front line, he said:

“The information is true, but so far we cannot name the settlements, because there are active hostilities, a military operation … We must do everything so that the enemy leaves the north of our region, and then we will move to liberate other territories.”

According to him, the moment of transition to the counteroffensive was a turning point, since the defenders pushed back the enemy forces, which reduced the number of attacks on Kharkov.

Sinegubov added that the Kharkiv region is a strategic direction, because the Russian Federation plans to create a “corridor” to the Luhansk and Donetsk regions:

“Our task is to drive the enemy out of there, actually cutting the artery through which the logistics go to these areas. In addition, the enemy understands very clearly that as soon as we give up slack in at least any direction, he will immediately take advantage of this. We understand that hopes take Kharkov, he does not leave the Kharkov region.

Recall that before that, Sinegubov said that it has been relatively quiet in Kharkiv for several days, but the threat of shelling remains. However, people are gradually returning to the city.

Over the past day, the enemy shelled the Chuguevsky district (two people were injured, one of them is a 15-year-old child), Pervomaiskoe and Zolochivskaya community. The most “hot” point is the Izyum direction.
