Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rain is likely in the state today. An orange alert was announced for Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idukki districts on Monday. Up to 20 cm of rain can fall in these places in 24 hours. Yellow alert has also been announced in 10 other districts.
