Katja Schuurman wants to follow a different path in the coming six months | Stars

entertainment">“After more than 25 years of delving into one project after another, whether that was a movie, a television show, a book, my own film production company, clothing line, sustainable jewelry line, or a social enterprise, I want to see what happens when I don’t fill up the time,” says 46-year-old Katja. “I’ve done a lot of things that I’m proud of, that I find valuable, but also regularly engaged in nonsense. Just because it came my way and I said yes.”

entertainment">According to Katja, there are still many things that make her heart beat faster. They say they have been on her to-do lists for ‘years’. “At the bottom of. So that I never get around to it. I am now 46 years old. Hopefully I still have a whole life ahead of me. I am curious what the next 46 years can bring me if I dare to be open to it. If I don’t take the path that I’ve been walking for so long as a matter of course, because that’s what I ended up on at some point.”

entertainment">Katja does not rule out the possibility that she will return on the same path, but maybe it will also be ‘something completely different’. “I’m certainly not just referring to work, but to life itself. (…) I will continue to do my work for @returntosender, as well as promoting the two films and short series coming out next year, and I will continue to design some nice shoes here and there. But in the near future I will mainly wander, probably get lost, read, write, walk, get bored, waste time and cuddle a lot with my girls.
